Corbett opposes foolish spending

Do the people of Cedar Rapids want a mayor who has proved that he really cares about all the people and who will get the city back on track? Then Ron Corbett is the man to vote for.
Corbett is a family man who knows what a family needs. He spent 13 years in the Legislature, so he is familiar with what areas of state and national government he may need to approach for grants, etc. Corbett had his small business, so he knows what the small business owner needs.
While president and CEO of the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce, Corbett worked to get new businesses into our city and helped make this a city to be proud of.
In his work as vice president of Human Resources at CRST Inc., he works all types of people and situations on a daily basis.
Corbett has stated that he is against additional taxes, sees no need to build a Taj Mahal to house City Hall, believes that we need to hire local, spend local and build local.
Come Nov. 3, vote for a candidate who cares about Cedar Rapids and is against spending our tax dollars foolishly. The only candidate who fills this bill is Ron Corbett.
