A teenage driver and his passenger were taken to Mercy Medical Center Wednesday night after their car flipped into a ditch in rural Benton County.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office says the driver and his friend, also a minor, were southbound in the 7500 block of 29th Avenue just outside of Norway at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday when their car slid out of control on the gravel and flipped into the ditch.
Deputies said that the teens were temporarily trapped in the car, but that their injuries were minor. They were conscious and talkative when emergency workers arrived, deputies said.
The crash remains under investigation.
