City will insist on new leaf-rake protocol by billing for leaves in the street

Keep leaves out of the streets.
Beginning the week of Nov. 16, the city will begin billing property owners who are not on board with the city's new leaf-raking protocol.
In years passed, the idea was to rake leaves into the street. This year, though, city has a new fleet of vacuum trucks, and residents are supposed to rake leaves to the curb but not into the street.
