Prairie inspires pride at marching band event

In October, the annual Indoor Marching Band Classic was held at the U.S. Cellular Center. Every year, the Prairie Marching band takes part in this wonderful event.
We have attended for several years and each year we make note that whenever the band from another school enters and exits the floor to perform, the Prairie band members are the only ones who stand. We are proud of them for doing so. This shows respect for the other bands.
It also shows respect for Craig Aune, the director, each other and the many people who work so hard to make Prairie's marching band such a success.
If you have never attended this event, we highly recommend doing so in 2010.
