Obama’s influences seek government control
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Presidents Lyndon Johnson and Jimmy Carter endeavored to reshape America by expanding government control.
The stimulus and the government takeover of the automobile and finance industries are modern strategies designed to expand government control over today's economy. The “public option” in the health care bill is not about health care as much as it is about government control over individuals.
I have witnessed individuals involved in our government who, on video, have expressed the following positions:
Andy Stern, a global union leader, who visited the White House frequently, said, “We took names, we watched how they voted.” “Use the power of persuasion; if that fails, use the persuasion of power.” “Workers of the world unite!” (Remember Lenin?)
Socialist George Soros, also a White House visitor, said, “The system we have is broken. We need to create a new one; this is the time to do this.”
President Obama's minister, the Rev. Wright said, “This is the land of the greed and home of the slave.”
Robert McChesney, another White House visitor, is the director of the foundation that operates the socialist Monthly Review Magazine. He said, “Take capitalism apart one brick at a time.”
To understand today's national threat, readers can research, in addition to the above, the following individuals who influence our president: Van Jones, Saul Alinsky, Bill Ayers, Ed Montgomery, Ron Bloom, Carol Browner, Gary Samore and ACORN executives.
Subjective loyalty to a political party diminishes that party's effectiveness in maintaining the character of a nation.
