Prosecute all ‘villains’ who accepted Nobels
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Nov. 14, 2009 11:37 pm
In response to the Nov. 7 letter, “Obama disobeyed oath in accepting gift,” I must applaud Mr. Dolan's logic. Clearly our president is violating the Constitution by accepting these gifts. In fact, this violation constitutes nothing less than treason.
As we begin to prosecute Mr. Obama, we should also keep in mind to prosecute those other traitorous figures in our history - previous winners of the Nobel Peace Prize. Let us ruthlessly prosecute villains such as Al Gore, Jimmy Carter, Elie Wiesel, Norman Borlaug, Martin Luther King Jr., George Marshall, Emily Balch, Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt.
Or, maybe it's the perfect time to stop and think.
