HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Authorities say they have arrested five people who allegedly tried to rob a bank in the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson.
The FBI says that five men went into a Wells Fargo bank on Friday and presented a false federal search warrant to the bank manager. The agency says the search warrant demanded all money in the bank's vault and that when the bank manager refused to comply, he was handcuffed and threatened.
Henderson police arrested the five men, who are from Nevada and California, as they left the bank and the FBI later took custody of them. Each of them is charged with bank robbery.
They were scheduled for an initial court appearance on Monday.
