Midland's going 8-man

The Midland Board of Education voted to institute eight man football for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.Superintendent Brian Rodenberg and Athletic Director Kirk Park shared information from a meeting of parents and players. It was the consensus at that meeting to go with the eight man program. It was stressed that a football program has to be built from the bottom up, and the district needs to look at the ability to compete.Junior high football will also go to eight man.
