Goldberg comments on Fort Hood out of line

Jonah Goldberg hit a new all-time low with his Nov. 16 column, “What the politics of Fort Hood mean for Obama.” We just had a terrible tragedy. It is not the appropriate time to be scoring political points.
I simply see the shooter as a sympathizer and a traitor. From the stories that have surfaced, warning signs were visible over a year ago - when George W. Bush was still president, by the way, but never mind that. The Department of Defense and the FBI did a poor job of tracking this guy.
I hope he recovers, receives a fair trial and a swift execution.
