Finish election job: Vote for Karr

Since the flood of 2008, I have gotten to know Don Karr as a fellow flood-affected business owner and now as a friend. In times of crisis, people with leadership skills rise to the top. They aren't asked to serve, don't talk their way into serving, they just do it. Karr is that type of man.

Karr was one of the founders of the Cedar Rapids Small Business Recovery Group and his passion to help others shined through. He has also opened his business to allow residential landlords a place to meet and confer for their needs.

Karr has the experience needed to lead Cedar Rapids out of these rough times. He has given a lifetime to creating jobs, managing a fiscally sound business, along with giving back to his community through serving on school and city committees, non-profit boards. and even coaching kids.

We all started something important Nov. 3; now we need to finish the job. Please vote for Don Karr for an at-large city council seat Dec. 1.
