Would you pledge a dollar to get Iowa in the Fiesta Bowl?

We've heard and heard that bowl games are about money. If so, then why not take the bowl by the horns?
Here's what I'm thinking: If enough Hawkeye fans pledge they'll send one U.S. dollar to the Fiesta Bowl Committee if that game promises to invite Iowa, maybe that will be the deciding factor.
I have a vested interest. The Fiesta Bowl is a much-better story to cover than the Capital One Bowl. Iowa-Boise State would be a better story than an Iowa-LSU rematch in Orlando five years after Tate-to-Holloway. I like the better story.
No one has to attach their names to the following poll. But I'm figuring if 500 of you vow to toss a buck the Fiesta's way for this little favor, the deal will get done. What right-thinking bowl game could pass up $500? So make your declaration. If the Fiesta Bowl agrees to take five C-notes in exchange for a spot in its bowl, be ready to back up your vow by actually sending the dollar to Phoenix. To shave the cost of your postage in half, get a friend to toss a buck in the same envelope.
Why hadn't anyone already thought of this, by the way?
