Participants sought for housing survey

The Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission and the Community Development Department are seeking local residents willing to participate in a study of the city's housing issues.
The study will analyze impediments to fair housing in Cedar Rapids. The commission is seeking city staff, members of other city commissions, Department of Human Services staff, fair housing advocates and nonprofits, school district representatives and others.
A meeting will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 8 at the African American Museum of Iowa, 55 12th Ave. SE.
