CEDAR RAPIDS - Necia Kay Palmer and Brendon Timothy Cable, both of Cedar Rapids, announce their engagement. Necia is the daughter of Tom and Chris Palmer. Brandon is the son of Jamie and Michael Baxter, and Tim Cable. Both are 2005 graduates of George Washington High School. Brendon is a 2009 graduate of Coe College with a degree in Elementary Education ; and currently a preschool teacher at Kids Inc. Necia is a full-time student at Mount Mercy College, pursuing a Biology degree with a Chemistry minor.The couple will exchange wedding vows on Friday, May 21, 2010, at Christ Church Presbyterian in Cedar Rapids. The reception will be held immediately following at the IBEW Miller Hall.
