RoughRiders' Beers USHL d-man of week

Jared Beers of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders has been named USHL Defensive Player of the Week.
Beers had a goal and two assists and was a plus-four in three games last weekend for the Riders. Cedar Rapids won two games and lost another in a shootout.
Other USHL weekly award winners were Green Bay's Reed Seckel (Offensive Player of the Week) and Tri-City's Carsen Chubak (Goalie of the Week).
