Email back for Mediacom customers
Iowa's largest cable provider says e-mail is back.
Mediacom Communications Corp. says most of the problems were fixed Sunday, after some customers were without e-mail for three days.
Spokeswoman Phyllis Peters customers should have most of their missing mail restored, as well as their old e-mail folders.
The problems occurred last Thursday when Mediacom switched customers to a new e-mail system. The change affected those with mchsi.com e-mail addresses.
Peters says a high volume of spam and other messages clogged the system during the migration.
