Rettig winning over Johnson County voter

Janelle Rettig amazes me. The depth of her self-directed preparation for serving on the Johnson County Board of Supervisors is astounding.

Janelle has made an effort to connect with many aspects of the community. She has served on a wide range of boards and commissions at the city, county and state levels. She reaches out to people, even those who don't agree with her. This wide experience has given her skills few people possess.

She has been getting to know the county departments, talking with staff as well as department heads, and studying the budgets. She now has an impressive understanding of county finance, political and economic.

Janelle is willing to do whatever it takes to thoroughly understand an issue and make an informed decision. She has won my vote for the Jan. 19 special election.
