A Dubuque County collision sent two men to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque with minor injuries early Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say that at around 2 p.m Wednesday, Cory Drowns, of Calamus, was driving a truck hauling 80,000 pounds of corn southbound on Highway 151/61 when he rear ended an Iowa Department of Transportation vehicle driven by Tim McQuillen of Peosta.
Drowns told Dubuque County sheriff's deputies he did not see the slow moving vehicle before the two crashed.
Drowns was cited for failure to maintain control. The semi was totaled in the accident.
