Time for baby boomers to stop being selfish
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 27, 2009 11:32 pm
With my apologies to the many unselfish people born between 1946 and 1964, what a self-indulgent generation the baby boomers have turned out to be. For the first time in history, we have a group of people who want to take more from their grandkids than they give.
They want all their bad decisions to be fixed with someone else's money and effort. They want their government to give them more than they contribute. It is time for this selfish generation to do better. The government is not your nanny, and my children should not be saddled with your bills.
