One person injured after accident in Fayette County
OELWEIN - One person is injured after an early morning accident in Fayette County.
The accident happened at around 1:30 Monday morning along Highway 3, just east of County Road V62. The Fayette County Sheriff's Department says that Travis Bruns, 19, of Hazelton, was traveling eastbound when he lost control of the pickup he was driving. The pickup entered the ditch and hit a concrete culvert before ramping a farm drive.
Bruns was transported to Mercy Hospital in Oelwein, the extent of his injuries is not known. The accident remains under investigation.
