I.C. district misleads public on Roosevelt
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 31, 2009 11:23 pm
The Iowa City school district's five-year plan spins out Roosevelt as a run down little joint full of academically crippled children. Inspection of the grounds and building and conversation with a teacher lead me to believe that the school board is peeing in our shoes.
By deserting Roosevelt in favor of a yet-to-be-built school in the country, the district can no longer afford bus service to private schools. I'm going to bribe the Regina (private school) trustees to offer the heathen $1 for his allegedly crummy little school.
I suggest the moral majority do likewise.
