Attempted murder trial reset

The trial of a man accused of threatening his apartment manager at gunpoint has been reset.
Gregory Phillips' attempted murder trial is now set for May 3 in Johnson County District Court. His pretrial conference is scheduled for April 22.
Phillips, 55, is accused of shoving a gun into his apartment manager Mazhar Baig's mouth at Dolphin Lake Point Enclave, 2401 E. Hwy 6, in September 2008, where Phillips had lived for 35 years.
Phillips is also accused of going armed with intent, a Class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison and fines up to $7,500. Attempted murder is a Class B felony punishable by 25 years in prison.
