Tiller murder aboutcontrolling others’ lives
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Feb. 8, 2010 11:58 pm
The murderer of abortion provider Dr. George Tiller has been convicted and faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison. The murder wasn't about saving children. It was an attempt to control other people's lives. The arrogance that it took for the murderer to believe that he was sanctioned by higher power to be judge, jury and executioner is incredible.
Thousands of the world's children die every day of starvation. Many others die from illnesses that could be easily prevented or cured. If someone truly cares about children, there is much to do there. The list is practically endless.
