Offensive average: 64.5. Defensive average: 39.6. Streak: Won 20. Last ranking: 1st. Notable: Bidding to become the first MVC team since Cedar Falls (2000 & 2001) to go unbeaten in the league two straight years. Only one MVC team (Iowa City West) has stayed within double digits of the Lions. What's next: Ends regular season vs. Iowa City West on Friday. Hosts Dubuque Senior or Dubuque Hempstead in 4A regional semifinal Feb. 20.
2. CEDAR RAPIDS KENNEDY (16-2)
Offensive average: 63.2. Defensive average: 45.5. Streak: Won 4. Last ranking: 2nd. Notable: Champions of the MVC Mississippi Division. Much-awaited game with Marion cancelled Saturday to make room for rescheduled contest with Waterloo West. What's next: Ends regular season with games Friday (Cedar Rapids Washington, home) and Saturday (Waterloo West, home). Hosts Davenport West or Davenport Central in a 4A regional semifinal Feb. 20.
3. WAUKON (18-1)

Notable: Showdown Thursday allows Indians an opportunity to win their second straight Northeast Iowa Conference title. What's next: Hosts Crestwood on Thursday, then at New Hampton on Saturday. Hosts Decorah in a 3A regional quarterfinal Wednesday.
4. MARION (18-1)
Offensive average: 63.3. Defensive average: 40.6. Streak: Won 12. Last ranking: 4th. Notable: Indians have wrapped up their third straight league championship. Won't face Cedar Rapids Kennedy Saturday because Kennedy is forced to reschedule game with Waterloo West. What's next: At Clear Creek Amana on Thursday, hosts Washington (Iowa) on Saturday. Hosts Benton Community in a 3A regional quarterfinal Wednesday.
5. CASCADE (20-1)
Offensive average: 42.7. Defensive average: 28.4. Streak: Won 20. Last ranking: 5th. Notable: Cougars finished undefeated in the Tri-Rivers Conference, then posted an impressive 46-38 win over a good 3A foe in Anamosa. What's next: Hosts Dyersville Beckman in a Class 2A regional first-round game Saturday.
6. IOWA CITY WEST (14-5)
Offensive average: 68.2. Defensive average: 46.7. Streak: Lost 1. Last ranking: 6th. Notable: Lost to Iowa City High for the second time this season, 61-55, at City. Will try to break up Linn-Mar's bid for back-to-back perfect seasons in the MVC. What's next: At Cedar Falls on Thursday, at Linn-Mar on Friday. Hosts Ottumwa or Burlington in a 4A regional semifinal on Feb. 20.
7. CEDAR RAPIDS XAVIER (13-7)

Notable: Had dropped three of four, but bounced back in a big way with a 46-32 win at Cedar Rapids Washington in a game that's likely a preview of a regional semifinal. 8. CEDAR RAPIDS WASHINGTON (12-7)
Offensive average: 55.9. Defensive average: 49.7. Streak: Lost 1. Last ranking: 7th. Notable: Impressive four-game win streak ended with a 46-32 loss at Cedar Rapids Xavier on Monday. 9. MFL MAR MAC (17-3)
