A couple of area kids came within seconds of pulling off big upsets. Leading 6-5, Mount Vernon's Josh Haug was taken down as time expired in a 171-pound quarterfinal loss to Perry's Kane Seeley. Haug, a senior, came in unranked. Seeley was fifth.
