Can’t afford to deplete state’s road use fund

How can the crowd in Des Moines, the ones we sent there to represent us, think of taking $50 million out of the road use fund? That is senseless. Highway 13, north of Marion, to the Delaware County line is atrocious. It will beat your tires, knock your alignment out and destroy any semblance of balance your car had.
I am tired of the adage “We don't have any funds for road upkeep.” Yet they asphalt the trails out of the city and plant flowers along I-380 to beautify it. Don't say I should write my representatives - I have already done that and to date have not received a reply. They either own stock in the car repair shops or get a kickback for every tire sold or alignment job performed. This may be why there is much unrest in the country; nobody listens to the regular citizens.
