Substation producing positive results for C.R.

The problems around the substation on First Avenue East did not happen overnight, thus the fixing of these problems will take time as well.
I am a volunteer at the substation, and even though I am there for only a few hours a day, I personally have seen positive results. Keeping in mind that the substation is not only there to enforce the laws and city ordinances, which it has. For there have been numerous accounts that are not reported to the media that have happened to fight crime around the neighborhoods.
We are there to help people who need help, by way of information, directions and the like. It is a resource center, after all.
I see the future of our substation as interacting even more with the public in a positive light, through reading and educating our young. The substation of First Avenue East is good not just for the people around it but all of our fair city. Give us time to prove ourselves. It will work.
