NORMAL, Ill. – Northern Iowa couldn't hold on to a 13-point second-half lead Sunday, falling, 69-66, to Missouri Valley Conference-leading Illinois State on Sunday at Redbird Arena.
UNI's Erin Brocka notched career highs in both points and rebounds, with 21 and 15. Lizzie Boeck recorded her first double-double of the season, scoring 21 to go with 10 rebounds. Jacqui Kalin finished with 14 points and six assists for the Panthers (13-14, 9-7 MVC).
Alexis Jenkins scored a career-high 21 points to lead ISU (22-5, 15-1 MVC). Maggie Krick finished with 16 points and Nicolle Lewis tallied 13 points.
