It’s time to start over with fresh politicians

Why can't our 535 politicians fix our Social Security system?
Why can't our 535 politicians fix our complicated tax code?
Why do our 535 politicians continue to allow our budget to be in the red?
Why can't our 535 politicians design a national health care program for the benefit of the American people, comparable to the one politicians have enjoyed for decades?
Additionally, there are the questions about the ineffective Department of Energy and its billions in annual payroll, the U.S. Postal Services in financial trouble, the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac snafu and the illegal immigrant problem.
Is it because once they get into office, politicians forget their campaign promises, become irresponsible, no longer use their common sense? They proceed to follow their respective party herd mentality at the expense of the American people.
The solution should be obvious to all. We need to vote against everyone who has been in office more than six years. In Iowa, we can start by not re-electing Sen. Chuck Grassley, Sen. Tom Harkin, and Reps. Leonard Boswell, Tom Latham and Steve King.
Granted, this process will take a few years. We must pay closer attention to what our elected officials are accomplishing versus the lip service they may be giving.
We then need to elect successful business people who have the desire to work for us and have the knowledge that they will only be servicing a maximum of two terms.
