Congratulations to the staff and volunteers of Theatre Cedar Rapids for their successful effort recrafting a wonderful theater and production following the flood.
The theater joins the African American Historical Museum and Cultural Center and Indian Creek Nature Center in making remarkable flood recovery relatively quickly. The Science Station and National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library also quickly restored a presence in Lindale Mall following inundation.
Cedar Rapids' non-profits demonstrated energy, creativity, passion and determination in restoring services that add to our quality of life.
