Politicians selling souls to highest bidder
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 8, 2010 11:17 pm
I am disgusted by members of Congress, mostly Republicans, who allow corporations to rule against the majority of U. S. citizens, all because of political contributions by the insurance industry. As the saying goes, we have the best Congress that money can buy.
Those politicians have no business holding office, where they are supposed to represent the people. Instead they are only selling their souls to the highest bidder.
My wife and I have Medicare, so health care reform should not be our priority, but it is because we feel for our fellow man. It's a pity I can't say the same about those in Congress who don't care about the people and only want to see our president fail.
