Cedar Rapids landlord sentencing reset
Sentencing for landlord Robert Miell has been reset to June 7 after being postponed from last September in U.S. District Court. The sentencing is expected to last three days.
The sentencing was postponed last year after Miell disagreed with his attorneys about testifying. The court gave him time to find a new lawyer.
Miell, 55, was convicted last year of two counts of tax fraud and pleaded guilty to 18 counts of mail fraud and two counts of perjury.
