Police investigate shots fired in SE Cedar Rapids
Police say they are looking for at least two suspects after multiple shots were fired in the 1600 block of Fourth Avenue tonight.
Authorities took multiple calls from neighbors reporting several gun shots in or around Fourth and Fifth avenues in southeast Cedar Rapids at around 9:40 p.m.
Police say they have not gotten word of any injuries, but they did find two handguns, as well as “a few” shell casings in an alley between Fourth and Fifth Avenue.
Officers were unable to give a solid description of the suspects and are still investigating the incident.
