Conservatives’ protests similar to those in ’60s
The Gazette Opinion Staff

How times change. When I was growing up in the 1960s, the “hippies” were marching and protesting against the government, and conservatives were defending it, telling them “America - love it or leave it.” Critics of America were considered traitors.
Today, the conservatives are marching and protesting against government and trying to tear it apart. I never thought I would ever see that.
