Parade to celebrate St. Joseph’s Day on Saturday

Red will replace the green of St. Patrick's Day on Saturday as Czech Village celebrates St. Joseph's Day with a parade.
Lineup for the parade begins at 10 a.m., at 12th Avenue and Fourth Street SE. The parade begins at 11 a.m., crossing the Bridge of Lions and into Czech Village on 16th Avenue SW.
Restaurants in the village will offer pork and dumplings and other Czech food, along with red beer.
St. Joseph is the Czechs' patron saint. Czechs traditionally wear red to celebrate the day.
