Sioux City shuts out RoughRiders, 1-0

Nick Sorkin scored late in the first period for the only goal of the game as Sioux City upended the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, 1-0, Friday night in Sioux City.
Sorkin's goal came with 1:13 remaining in the first and was the only blemish against Riders goalie Cody Campbell, who made 26 saves but took the loss. Former RoughRider Matt Skoff had the 28-save shutout for Sioux City.
Cedar Rapids returns home to play rival
Waterloo on Saturday night at 7.
