America’s soul, freedom lost with March 21 vote
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 25, 2010 12:27 am
March 21 was the day the United States lost its soul and its freedom.
We were a nation of a people, for a people, by the people. No more: The liberals said it is our way or the highway. They do not care that the majority of people said no. This was more about saving President Obama's legacy than it was about health care.
Never in the history of our government has there been such a corrupt group of people leading the way. They care only that they have succeeded in pushing us toward socialism. The fat cats who led the charge and voted for it don't really care. They have exempted themselves from the health care bill.
They have ousted God from all things, forgetting our freedoms come from him and not the government. What was the Revolutionary War for? Why did our forefathers fight and die? So we could live and die as free people. I can hardly wait for November. God help us all.
