Kids vs Cops in Service Project
Harding Middle School hosted the third annual Kids vs Cops Dodge Ball Tournament April 9. Teams of students and staff challenged teams from the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
Neither side took any prisoners in the "all for fun" fund-raising event, organized by the Harding Student Leadership Group. Everyone played full out to entertain the crowd and raise funds to purchase protective vests for dogs in the CRPD K-9 Unit. The 2009 event raised $2,600.
