Republicans, Democrats both on crash course

It seems that there is little difference between the Democratic and Republican parties these days. Both are on a crash course and headed for a concrete wall, the former traveling at 150 mph, the latter at 100 mph. No matter how one cuts it, both are found among the dead with their societal impact aflame.
The only real difference being that the latter takes slightly longer to reach this barren place of burning and national demise. Big government air bags seem the only hope of survival.
