Miller, Langston spar over Linn County official's vacation

UPDATED: A pair of Linn County officials sparred at a work session this morning over whether County Engineer Steve Gannon takes too little vacation.

Auditor Joel Miller wrote an e-mail to Supervisor Linda Langston that was critical of county employees who take little or no vacation.

Miller wanted to discuss it privately with Langston, and became angry with her for bringing it up publicly.

“This was not the appropriate forum for you to handle this,” Miller said, shortly before storming out.
