Women of the left paved way for Palin
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I'm certainly glad to see Sarah Palin being politically active again. I wonder if she realizes, though, that while bashing the left, it is really the suffragettes of the 1800s and the “feminazis” (Rush Limbaugh's term) of the 1960s and '70s that paved the way for her status today? Without the women's movement and the left, only men would be attending the Tea Party rallies, with only men speaking and doing the leading. Palin, in that case, would not be speaking, but cooking, sewing and keeping her mouth shut, all in the name of the greater good.
