Airport Commission talking about director applicants

The Cedar Rapids Airport Commission will meet in closed session at 4 p.m. Tuesday for a “discussion to evaluate applicants” for airport director.
The commission has been working with a private search firm to find a replacement for former Airport Director Dan Mann, who left in January to take a similar position in South Carolina.
No announcement is expected at the conclusion of Tuesday's meeting. The commission operates The Eastern Iowa Airport, a standalone city-owned entity that does not receive property tax revenue.
