Shots fired in Iowa City; no one hurt
Police say they found blood but no victim at the scene of an apartment complex shooting Wednesday night at 2530 Bartelt Road.
Iowa City Police officers arrived to a parking lot at the Pheasant Ridge apartment complex where witnesses say a man fired a gun several times at another man at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 28.
Lt. Doug Hart said that it is difficult to tell how badly the victim was injured, or if at all, as both the gunman and the victim appear to have fled the scene before officers arrived.
The investigation is still ongoing.
