Hatred of Obama is Tea Party’s mission

A New York Times story shed light on members of the Tea Party movement.
While it was known they are angry, hate President Obama, rebellious, seditious, want to have their cake and eat it too, and want others to pay for those privileges, the Times' poll found they are 99 percent white.
But, as the Times noted, they are not typical main street people but - as Republicans/conservatives similarly classify liberals they hate - elites; well-off, well-educated. Ironically, they feel their taxes are fair, and like their Social Security and Medicare.
About 47 percent of Americans pay no federal taxes, some because they are too poor, others because of tax credits. Another 50 percent pay less in federal taxes than previously. If they were sincere in their mission statement, they would say thank you President Obama, but since they are still mad, perhaps this is about the color of Obama's skin and “I have mine, let others get theirs” mentality that seems to be pervasive among the world's elites.
What is all the vitriol with shouts of “We want our country back”? From whom?
While they're educated, they are ill-informed. Birthers, not knowing differences between communism/fascism/socialism. They must be Fox News and hate radio puppets who take propaganda as factual. For example, the “reparations” ruse by Rush Limbaugh most certainly wet the appetites of his mostly white audience: African-American president taking “their” money and giving it to poorer blacks.
Hatred of Obama, period, is their mission.
