Kudos to Loebsack for taking on Beck

Thank you, Congressman Dave Loebsack, for standing up to talk radio host Glenn Beck, who recently referred to the federal funds for disaster-stricken Cedar Rapids as “government waste.” The congressman invited Mr. Beck to visit Cedar Rapids and view the flood damage. He also provided Beck with a DVD titled “In Deep Water: The Flood of 2008” that outlines the flood's devastation.
Loebsack has worked hard to secure funding for Iowans affected by the floods. Iowa's Second District is extremely fortunate to have a congressman who is actually working for people.
