Fire breaks out at Cedar Rapids apartment complex
UPDATE: Firefighters responded to the Cedarwood Hills Apartments late Thursday morning for a fire.
Crews responded about 10:50 a.m. to 2050 Glass Rd. NE. Residents of the building were evacuated.
A Battalion Chief on the scene said the fire was under control. He was not aware of any injuries.
Representatives for the apartment complex asked the media to leave the private property.
