Weekend's weather: July-like heat in May
Are you ready for July-style heat? If you like the weather warm and muggy, this weekend -- and beyond -- could be tailor-made for you.
A large upper level high pressure center will dominate our weather for the rest of the month, KCRG-TV9 First Alert Storm Team meteorologist Kaj O'Mara says. Underneath the high, expect very warm weather this weekend, with highs in the mid to upper 80s and dew points pushing 70 in some communities. Heat index values could approach 90-95 degrees on Sunday, O'Mara says.
