BIG BOOST: The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library flood-recovery project received a major boost last week with a $3 million challenge grant from the Hall-Perrine Foundation, one of the organization's largest-ever grants. LIFESAVER: Cedar Rapids Police Officer Reid Lander didn't let a stopped train block stop him from answering a call for a man who had a heart attack while playing softball in September.
