Jacoby works hard to help constituents
The Gazette Opinion Staff
May. 26, 2010 12:54 am
I urge voters in District 30 to vote for Dave Jacoby in the primary election on June 8. Although Dave's opponent has withdrawn from the race, his name is still on the ballot, so casting your vote for Dave will send a loud and clear message that people in Coralville, Tiffin, North Liberty and portions of Iowa City want Dave to continue to represent us in the Iowa Legislature.
In his first four terms, Dave has worked hard, sponsoring and helping pass legislation that has helped working families (increasing the minimum wage), kids (expanding health care coverage), small businesses (allowing for pooling to provide health insurance), K-12 students (increasing funding for schools), and people and businesses affected by the 2008 flood (securing funding for recovery and prevention).
At jacobyforhouse.org, you can see many other ways Dave has represented our interests.
