Check in for results from the Class 2A state singles and doubles tournaments at Veterans Memorial Tennis Courts in Cedar Rapids.
Doubles are being competed with the start of some first-round singles.

In doubles, Iowa City West's Iggy Ampuero and Marshal Moellers defeated Bettendorf's Jackson Hemberger and Michael Jones, 6-3, 6-2. Ampuero/Moellers placed secenth last year.
In singles, #4 seed Jeff Damisch of C.R. Kennedy beat Clinton's Mitchell Schumacher, 6-1, 6-2.
Top-seeded doubles Kyle Johnson and David DeSimone of Bettendorf cruised with a 6-0, 6-2, win over CB Abe Lincoln's Alex Crowl and Collin Crowl.
#4 seed Tyler McCann and Mitch Anderson of Linn-Mar beat Philip Riley and Nathaniel Gier, 7-5, 6-3. They will face Ames duo Dustin Rhoads and Alex Qin, who advanced with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Johnston's R.J. McGrew and A.J. Naanep, 6-2, 6-0.
WDM Dowling's Elliot Baker and Anthony Forcucci beat Guillaume Vorlet and Andy Richter of Waterloo West, 6-2, 6-2. Baker and Forcucci, the #2 seed, will play Ampuero and Moellers in the quarters.
Also in singles, top-seed David Knight beat WDM Valley's David Babyev, 6-3, 6-2.
Two more C.R. Doubles teams won. #3 seed Charlie Hammond and Mitch Blades of Washington dropped Calvin Song and Nirvan Tyagi of Ames, 6-3, 7-5.
Jefferson's Dayton Stevens and Joby Frey notched a 6-3, 6-5 win over Zane and Colin Hendricks of Fort Dodge. Frey and Stevens play top-seed Johnson and DeSimone in the quarters.
Another singles result, Naveen Nath of Des Moines Roosevelt beat Cedar Falls' Rex Ju, 6-1, 6-1. Nath will play Damisch for a chance to play in tomorrow's semifinals.
Another single final, Chris Xin pof Ames beat IC West freshman Kyle Appel, 6-3, 6-4.
