Roberts listens, will act on will of the people
May. 30, 2010 12:41 am
I am tired of politicians who disregard the voices and will of the people. We need a governor who will fight for and protect the future of this state. Iowa needs a governor who listens and respects its residents.
Rod Roberts, Republican candidate for governor is running an aggressive grass-roots campaign. Since 2000, Roberts has served in the state Legislature and leads the Republican caucus.
Roberts will hit the road running to lead and protect Iowa on key issues: eliminating corporate income taxes, helping businesses and creating jobs; cutting personal income taxes by 10 percent; denying illegal adult immigrants Department of Human Services tax funded-benefits; defining marriage as union between one man and one woman; protecting life of the unborn; and supporting local control of school districts.
Roberts boasts a solid social and fiscal conservative voting record for 10 years. Roberts will carry out the people's business with civility and dignity.
Vote in the June 8 primary for Rod Roberts, a true conservative candidate for governor (see www.robertsforgov.com).
